- National Climate Expo. Around 100 companies and organisations in the climate and energy sector display themselves.
- Sustainability Career Event. Focused on students and young professionals.
- Social Impact Factory. An organisation in Utrecht organising small-scale, short events, on many diverse subjects such as social entrepreneurship with a networking component.
- Utrecht Union. They invite very prominent speakers on all kinds of subjects. More lecture-style.
- Upstream. Targeted to startups and investors. You can watch dozens of sustainability-focused startups pitch, as well as many other speakers.
- Change now. Huge event in Paris with companies, ngo's and initiatives on the widest range of sustainability topics. You can volunteer and enter for free. It's in april, we drive there with an Utrecht crew.

I am really into sustainable energy. I am now doing my master Energy Science. I started Defensity College, where I work in the sustainability department. I enjoy going to events about niche subjects like marketing-psychology or hydrogen. Then I connect it with sustainability. I also like jazz dance and singing a capella in inappropriate situations.

My ideal work would be combining NGO-type work with business models. I love coming up with new business ideas and then executing them. I started a project called MoreTreesNow during which we saved 180000 trees. I am also working on a startup. We sell compost-heating systems to farmers to turn their waste into compost and heat. Next to that, I am great at 'hakken', which some might call the Dutch national dance.

I spend most of my time trying to build compost-heating systems as my startup. I love agriculture. I also really like the social side of sustainability. I started a foundation where we help small African businesses find cheaper funding in Western countries. I went on an exchange semester to Melbourne where I studied development economics and spent half my time biking around in nature.
